Shopping has ceased to be defined by the boundaries of brick-and-mortar. Consumers expect brands to meet them wherever they are, offering an experience tailored to their individual needs across the entire customer journey. Retail marketers are on the front lines of creating those relevant, not purely transactional, experiences.
To better understand the retail marketing trends expected in the second half of 2019, Cordial surveyed 500 U.S. retail executives to understand marketing technology spending, planned investments, top challenges they plan to address, and marketing strategies they plan to employ in the coming year. Based on the survey, Cordial learned that retailers will continue to make the second half of 2019 a time to focus on personalization, cross-channel marketing technology consolidation, and expand mobile marketing technology spend.
In addition to the full report, Cordial is hosting a webinar to help you better understand the survey findings. We will be joined by Shar VanBoskirk, Principal Analyst and VP at Forrester, to help understand how to translate survey findings into best practices and suggested strategies to remain successful in retail marketing efforts. The webinar will also focus on:
• Top marketing challenges US retailers are encountering and how they are overcoming these obstacles
• Marketing technology trends and adoption, including how retailers are solving specific marketing needs and use cases
• How retail marketers are preparing for the holiday shopping calendar
Don’t miss out on the discussion!
